The Messy Mermaid Movement comes from a place of deep love for the ocean, the rivers, and every waterway in between. A love that makes you want to protect them, care for them, and do whatever small thing you can to keep them healthy, for the water, and for ourselves.
Every piece of rubbish you collect from a beach, river, lake, or waterway is a small act of devotion to something bigger than yourself. We want to celebrate that.
Do a clean-up at any beach or waterway, anywhere in the world, collect at least 20 pieces of rubbish, snap your photos, fill out the form below, and we’ll send you a 15% discount code to put toward a piece of jewellery you genuinely earned.

How it works
- Head to any beach, river, lake, or waterway and collect at least 20 pieces of rubbish
- Take a photo at the location, then take a second photo of your items laid out at home (please don’t lay rubbish out at the water’s edge & avoid using the bins near the water)
- Once home, please seperate and discard of the rubbish in the correct bins.
- Email MMM@bejba.com.au from the email address you would like the code to be sent to with the below information:
- Email subject: Messy Mermaid Movement Submission
- Your name
- Your email address
- Where did you do your clean-up? (beach name, suburb, country)
- How many pieces of rubbish did you collect?
- Anything else you’d like us to know? (e.g. I saw dolphins while I was out there, I did this with a group of friends, it was my first clean-up)
- Upload your location photo
- Upload your items photo
Your discount code will be sent to your email within 24 to 48 hours. If you have any trouble with the email, you can DM us on Instagram or reach us at MMM@bejba.com.au and we’ll take care of you.
Terms and Conditions
One code per person, per order. The code cannot be applied to multiple orders or shared with others. The code cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, promotion, or sale offering. The code is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. All submissions are reviewed before a code is issued. Any submission suspected of being AI-generated, digitally manipulated, or otherwise fraudulent will be rejected and no code will be issued. If a code has already been issued and a submission is later found to be fraudulent, the code will be voided. Submissions must be your own. Only one submission per person is permitted. By submitting, you confirm that your clean-up took place at a real beach, river, lake, or waterway, and that at least 20 pieces of rubbish were collected. Bejba reserves the right to reject any submission at its discretion. This offer has no cash value and is not transferable.
Safety note
Please clean up safely. Please avoid picking up anything that does not look safe, if possible report this to the local Surf Life saving club, National Park or Council. Never enter the water alone, always be aware of your surroundings, and take care on rocky or uneven terrain. Your safety comes first, always.
